    Laxmi Institute of Technology organized Fire & Safety Mock drill for the teachers and students on October 5, 2018. The Chief officer Mr. Maheshbhai Patel & his team from GIDC Sarigam, Fire & Safety department demonstrated the Fire extinguishing & rescuing procedures. The team shared simple and easy to follow safety tips, explained the functioning of a fire extinguisher and spoke of the DOs and DONTs regarding possibilities of fire. Some faculties were even called on to operate the fire-extinguishers independently. Mr. Maheshbhai Patel also addressed the need to watch out for warning signs and practice safeguards to prevent the occurrence of incidents that may range from inconvenient to life-threatening.

  • Echo Talent

    The students of Laxmi Vidyapeeth Sarigam have showcased their talent on the unique platform provided to them "ECHO TALENT". The motive of the event was to engage the students and identify their hidden potentials other than academic. The event was open to all students of Laxmi Vidyapeeth from schools to colleges, under the category of Dancing, Singing, Drama, Mimicry, Poetry, and standup comedy.

    The event was coordinated by Prof. Hiren Patel, Prof Kavita Joshi, and Prof Vrunda Patel, Club coordinators of Drama Club, Dancing Club and Music Club of LIT respectively. Honorable judges Prof. Jagdish Jani, Principal, LIA and Prof. Praful have selected eight Performances to battle in Grand Finale to be held on Makers' Day, October 12, 2018.

  • Motivational Seminar by Mr. Sanjay Raval

    Mr. Sanjay Raval is one of the esteemed Gujarati motivational speakers. He addressed the students of LIT, LIA, and LIM at Laxmi Vidyapeeth campus. He enlightened the students with the thrive to be fearless and bold to face any situations in life. He asked the students to follow some very necessitate routine which will make them realize their motive of life and how this will lead them to their dreams. The gathering was astonished by his talk of 2 hours long which was not only relatable but also implacable in learning and living process. After the talk, he also planted a tree as a sign of remembrance of the motivation.

  • Teachers Day Celebration

    On 5th September 2018, LIT celebrated Teachers Day with full enthusiasm. Students wished the educators in their respective departments with sweet, cake and made the day very special. After the special lunch educators, a planned set of events was arranged in the seminar hall. The celebration started with the welcome and thanks to all teachers by Mr. Krunal Dhivar, HOD Diploma, Applied Science. Newly joined educators were introduced to the mass. There were three special performances by Mr. Simranjeet Dhanjal, who played melodious Lucky Ali tunes of 90s, Mr. Ravi Patel and Ms. Purvi Patel also sang beautiful soulful songs. Brain game followed by performances was the highlight of the day. The celebration came to end with the words of advice by the Director, Dr. Basvaraj Patil, to keep up the spirit of teaching and excel oneself for the progress of the country.

  • Janmastmi Celebration

    Janmashtami is celebrated on the eighth day of Savan commemorating the birth of Lord Krishna. Student of LIT organized and celebrated the festival with full zeal and enthusiasm. Students performed aarti and subsequently had Dahi Handi competition. The vibrations around the whole celebration were spiritually enlightened.

  • Seminar on Stress Management

    Stress is what you think you should be, Relaxation is what you are!! Students of First-year participated in Seminar of Art of Living on Stress Management for students. Mr. Prashanth Chandani and Mr. Rajeev Upadyay hosted an interactive session where they apprised the students that stress is inevitable in our lives but can be controlled through our reactions. They also demonstrated few stress buster asanas for students.

    SPIC MACAY is a national volunteer movement that organizes classical programmes for the youth to enlighten about the vast Indian Cultural Heritage. LVS has been the host of one such national level event every year at Dhwani Auditorium by students of Architecture.
    SPIC MACAY 2018 was amused by the renowned Sarod Player, Shri Partho Sarothy. He is one the finest musicians and has performed nationwide. Faculties and students of LIT participated and contributed to the event.

  • Motivational Interactive session by Mr. Kamath

    The students of first had an opportunity to attend the motivational seminar by the successful industrialist, Mr.Kamath. The talk was highly influential and moving, mainly comprised of three pillars to achieve success 'work hard, dream big, believe in you.' During the session Mr. Kamath encouraged the students to think about their dreams, what do they want to seek in their life. He explained few logical beliefs accepted and illustrated with practical day to day life examples.

  • Sports Prize Distribution & Farewell Program

    Prize distribution for the sports day along with the farewell was conducted by Laxmi Institute of technology, Sarigam on 17th April 2018.

    Mr. B. N. Gohil - PSI of Bhilad acceded to be the chief guest of the day. The event started by lamp lighting. The chief guest expressed his views about the importance of skill development and how the students has to cling the opportunities in the competitive world and be the own entrepreneurs. He also shared his personal experience how 5 lakh candidates appeared for securing the job.

    Followed by his speech, there was a prize distribution for the events of the sports week, academic toppers, Student of the year, Class Representative and Volunteers of sports week.

  • A seminar on Tobacco awareness

    A seminar on "Awareness about the effects of tobacco consumption on oral health and the effect of smoking" has been arranged in association with Health Dept. Panchayath Valsad. Dr Manoj Patel spoke on the topic and enlightened the audience. He also motivated the students to take oath NO TO TOBACCO. Around 500 students of LIT, LIA, LICA attended the program.
