What is DDCET?
The Diploma to Degree Common Entrance Test (DDCET) is specifically designed for diploma candidates (D2D) seeking direct admission into the second year of the Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) program. Admission into the B.E program will be granted based on the results of the DDCET. Candidates who have successfully completed their diploma can appear for the DDCET to secure a place in the second year of the B.E program. The allocation of seats will be determined by the performance of candidates in the DDCET examination. This streamlined process facilitates the transition from diploma to degree, providing a direct pathway for qualified individuals to continue their education in engineering.

Two marks for each correct answer shall be awarded. For each wrong answer and more than one attempted answer minus 0.5 (half) mark shall be added on obtained marks. Unattempt answers will have zero marks. Based on final obtained marks, the merit list will be prepared and corresponding rank shall be prepared.

Candidates Qualified for DDCET Examination
Candidates appearing in the last semester will be eligible.
Candidates who have passed Diploma from a recognized Board/University in the State of Gujarat in the previous year.
Students having Bachelor of Science and Diploma Vocational from a recognized Board/University in Gujarat state.
Students who have passed in Diploma from Board/University from outside State.
