About Department
The Computer Department is set to introduce the subjects from basic to state of art in the related areas. Department has laboratories like Computer Network, Graphics, Multimedia & Simulation, Algorithm, Web Designing, Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, Mobile Programming etc. The department supplements the regular academic teaching along with the lectures, and workshop from the industrial persons.

PLACEMENT DRIVE OF ENJAY IT SOLUTIONS FOR CSE AND IT

Enjay IT Solutions has conducted Campus placements for the Degree IT and CSE students on 18.03.2019, in which around 25 students participated where 10 students were shortlisted for 2 round.
ANDROID APP DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP
Department of Computer Science Engineering and Information Technology collaboratively organized a 3- Day Hands-on Training workshop of Android App Development from August 30, 2018- September 1, 2018. Mr. Dharmesh Valjibhai Makwana Senior Developer from Survivor Infotech, Valsad having a vast experience in App and Web development shared his skill and time for the students of LIT. In the course time of 3 days, He has started with the basics of Android Studio, Its material design alerts to complex designing, offline storage, and online storage. The Workshop was highly appreciated by all the participants and at the end of three days, participants were able to create their own simple Android App.

INDUSTRIAL VISIT AT KAKRAPAR ATOMIC POWER STATION, VYARA.
Laxmi Institute of Technology, Sarigam organized an industrial visit on 12th October, 2016 at Kakrapar Atomic Power Station, Vyara. The trip was organized for 3rd semester CSE & IT students in view to visualize the real time networking in public sectors. 54 students along with 6 faculties visited the power plant.
EXCELLENCE IN EDUCATION SUMMIT 2015
Elocution competition for University students (For and Against the Motion) was organized prior to award function at the Senate Hall of Gujarat University. Eight students per Institutions participated. Eight students of LIT with four faculties as Jury and Coordinator performed well. (The details of participated students and faculty are attached). Three students have won the prizes among all the colleges affiliated under Gujarat University in Gujarat state education.
MAKE IN INDIA @ LIT
Honorable Prime Minister’s of India Initiative of Make in India was propagated as a final year project fair Make in India@LIT-2015 at Laxmi Institute of Technology, Sarigam, on 25th April, 2015. The Engineering students prepared and presented 92 innovative projects which have potential to be developed as a product.
