ABOUT Gajera TRUST
The Gajera Trust is guided by the philosophy of “One World, One Happiness” (Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam), which translates to “The World Is One Family.” This vision drives our commitment to equality, unity, and creating a world of harmony. We are dedicated to uplifting individuals and providing a support system that spans across various sectors, including Education, Healthcare, Environment, and Community Service. Our initiatives aim to foster positive change and contribute to the overall well-being of society.

The Gajera family’s journey began in 1972, when two brothers arrived in Surat with little more than their determination and the clothes on their backs. They started as diamond workers, sharing machinery and working side by side. In just a few years, they established successful businesses that expanded into Diamonds, Textiles, and Construction. Their entrepreneurial spirit and perseverance enabled them to build a strong reputation and make their mark in the community they had once entered with nothing.
Alongside their business ventures, the brothers founded the Smt. Shantaben Haribhai Gajera Trust in memory of their late mother. The Trust’s primary mission has always been to serve the welfare of the community, focusing on education, healthcare, and social service. One of its most impactful initiatives is the establishment of Vatsalyadham, an orphanage providing shelter, care, and a loving home for orphaned children.
Today, the Trust continues to flourish, supporting over 50,000 students from diverse backgrounds across nine campuses in Gujarat. These include 18 schools and three colleges. The legacy of Laxmi Diamond Industries and the Gajera Trust has extended far beyond India, earning recognition worldwide.
About Laxmi Vidyapeeth
Laxmi Vidyapeeth, a renowned temple of learning, is situated on a sprawling 120-acre campus that offers facilities designed to inspire and cater to the aspirations of the elite. Renowned for its commitment to excellence, LIM offers a 2-year full-time MBA program with specializations in Finance, Marketing, Human Resource Management, and Information Technology. Additionally, the institute provides a 3-year full-time undergraduate program (B.Voc) in Banking, Finance, Securities, Insurance, and Investments.

Alongside these, we offer thrilling fun events such as Box Cricket and Dance competitions, making the event a perfect mix of brains and entertainment. Having been organized for many years, Ekatra has earned a reputation for innovation, creativity, and unforgettable experiences. Students from all walks of life come together to learn, compete, and have fun, making it an event that celebrates both technology and teamwork. With each edition, Ekatra grows bigger and better, continuing to inspire the youth in our community.
