Diploma Engineering to Degree Engineering (D2D)

Eligibility for Admission

  • The aspiring candidate shall have passed Diploma Engineering with minimum 45% (40% for SC/ST/SEBC/EWSs candidates).
  • Candidates who have passed the Diploma Engineering in November / December 2020 or in the year 2021 will be eligible for the above admission.
  • As per AICTE Approval Handbook 2021 and rules notified on 07-07-2021 by state government, Diploma holder will be able to get admission in any degree engineering branch with the minimum admission qualification prescribed by AICTE as per Diploma Engineering to Degree Engineering admission rules.

Admission Procedure

The candidate seeking admission after Diploma Engineering should apply at Gujarat Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC). A grand merit list is prepared and Candidates get admission in branches of their choices at various colleges of Gujarat according to merit in council.

Documents Required

The candidate shall keep the PDF copies of the following documents (Min 10kb to Max. 300kb) and JPG of Passport size Photos (Min 10kb to Max. 100kb) at the Help Center, namely:-

  • School Leaving Certificate or Transfer Certificate
  • S.S.C. Examination (Std. X) Mark-sheet
  • Diploma Certificate or Last Mark sheet (if result not declared)
  • Caste certificate for a candidate belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC), Economically Weaker Section (EWS) issued by the authority empowered by the State Government in this behalf
  • Non Creamy Layer (NCL) certificate of the family, valid as per State Government Rules, by the authority empowered by the State Government in this behalf
  • Certificate of Physical Disability, issued and duly signed by the Civil Surgeon/ competent Medical Authority, in case the candidate is a Physically Handicapped
  • Certificate of Ex-Serviceman, duly issued by the Director, Sainik Welfare Board, Gujarat State or by the District Sainik Welfare Officer
  • A copy of certificate of In-Serviceman duly issued by the Commanding Officer of the respective unit in which he is serving
  • A copy of valid certificate of income issued by the authority empowered by the State Government in this behalf, if applicable
  • Two passport photographs of candidate for other State / other than Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary School Examination Board
  • Such other certificates as the Admission Committee deems necessary.
