INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION 2025

26-08-2025

LIT has successfully celebrated World Entrepreneurs’ Day through an inspiring seminar and panel discussion focused on innovation, startups, and entrepreneurial growth.
The program commenced with the National Anthem, followed by the traditional Lamp Lighting Ceremony, symbolizing knowledge and inspiration. Dr. Basavaraj Patil, Director–LIT, welcomed the distinguished guests and participants with his encouraging address. The highlight of the event was an engaging Panel Discussion, where invited experts from industry and academia shared their perspectives on entrepreneurship and startup opportunities. Each panel member addressed thought-provoking questions related to new business ideas, problem-solving, and pathways for startup growth.
The session also included an interactive Q&A segment, where students enthusiastically raised questions about business challenges, opportunities, and strategies to convert ideas into successful ventures. Their active participation reflected a strong spirit of curiosity and innovation. Towards the end, a group photograph captured the memorable gathering, and students had the valuable opportunity to interact one-on-one with the experts, further clarifying their queries and gaining personalized guidance.
The program was coordinated by Prof. Suchita Borkar (Head–B.Voc/D.Voc) and her team, with dedicated support from all LIT Heads and staff members, ensuring smooth execution.

INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY CELEBRATION 2025

International Yoga Day, celebrated every year on June 21, was initiated by India and officially recognized by the United Nations in 2014.
Over the past 4 days, Laxmi Institute of Technology organized a series of rejuvenating yoga sessions for faculty members, culminating in today’s final group practice. These sessions served not only as a physical activity but also as a step toward mindfulness and well-being.
The sessions were wonderfully coordinated by LIT-NSS Coordinator Prof. Kaushik Panara and his team, with Prof. Dhaval Tandel serving as the yoga instructor. The energy and enthusiasm shown by our faculty members truly reflect the spirit of wellness we aim to cultivate.
At LIT, we actively promote recreational and wellness activities for both students and staff — because a healthy campus is a happy campus!
