In loving memory of Late Smt. Champaben Vasantbhai Gajera Ji on her punyatithi, the NSS Unit of Laxmi Institute of Technology (LIT), Sarigam, organised a Blood Donation Camp on 15 October 2026 in association with Valsad Raktadan Kendra.
29 Units of Blood Collected — 29 Contributions Towards Saving Lives!
Under the guidance of our Director, Dr. Basavaraj Patil, and coordinated by Mr. Kaushik Panara, NSS Coordinator, the camp brought together students, faculty members, NSS volunteers, and donors for this noble cause.
We sincerely thank Dr. Hemaxi Rathod, Medical Officer, Mr. Himanshu Bhai Thakkar, Counsellor, and the entire medical team of Valsad Raktadan Kendra for their valuable support and dedicated service.
Donors received certificates and gifts sponsored by Atul Rural Development Fund in appreciation of their selfless contribution.

FRESHERS’ DAY 2026

Freshers’ Day at LIT-Sarigam was a vibrant celebration marking the beginning of an exciting new journey for our newest members. The event was filled with music, captivating performances, laughter, enthusiasm, and memorable moments that brought students together and created a warm sense of belonging to the LIT-Sarigam family. With energetic performances, engaging activities, and the joy of forming new friendships, the freshers added a wonderful spirit to the occasion. The celebration beautifully reflected the enthusiasm, creativity, and bright aspirations of our students as they embark on their academic journey. It was truly a memorable beginning to a promising and brighter tomorrow.
WORKSHOP ON CPR 2026

On the occasion of World First Aid Day 2026, the NSS Unit of Laxmi Institute of Technology (LIT), Sarigam, in association with Valsad Raktadan Kendra, successfully organised a Hands-on CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) Workshop on 11 September 2026 at Dhwani Auditorium. With the active participation of 300+ engineering students and faculty members, the workshop provided valuable practical knowledge of CPR and emergency response techniques through live demonstrations and hands-on training. The programme was conducted under the presence and guidance of Dr. Basavaraj Patil, Director, LIT, along with Prof. Amrat Patel, Principal (Diploma), and Prof. Kaushik Panara, NSS Coordinator, LIT.
The session was led by Dr. Abhishek Mistry , First Aid Trainer, Valsad Raktadan Kendra, who guided participants through essential CPR procedures and emergency response practices.
Mr. Bhavesh Raicha, Director, Valsad Raktadan Kendra, also addressed the gathering and highlighted the importance of voluntary blood donation as a vital social responsibility.
The workshop aimed to empower students and faculty with the confidence and skills needed to respond effectively during life-threatening emergencies, fostering a culture of safety, care, and social responsibility across the campus.

The Department of Mechanical Engineering, Laxmi Institute of Technology, Sarigam, celebrated Engineers’ Day with enthusiasm and pride. The event also honoured outstanding students Hir Tandel, Rohan Andher, and Parth Parmar for their dedication and achievements, inspiring students to embrace the spirit of engineering, innovation, and excellence. WORLD ENTREPRENEURS’ DAY CELEBRATION 2026

Laxmi Institute of Technology, Sarigam successfully celebrated World Entrepreneurs’ Day 2026, inspiring students to embrace innovation, leadership, and entrepreneurial thinking.
We were privileged to have Dr. Amar Bhosale, Director, Laxmi Institute of Management, Sarigam, as the keynote speaker. Through his insightful session, students gained valuable perspectives on entrepreneurship, innovation, problem-solving, and the mindset required to create opportunities in today’s dynamic world.

NSS SPECIAL CAMP – LINGA VILLAGE

NSS Unit of Laxmi Institute of Technology successfully organized a 4-day Special Camp at Linga Village from 15th to 18th April 2026, dedicated to social responsibility, awareness, and meaningful community engagement. The journey began with great enthusiasm as volunteers departed from LIT with a strong spirit of service and patriotism. At Ashram Shala Primary School, a Digital Awareness Session was conducted to educate students about safe internet usage and cybersecurity, along with the distribution of notebooks, stationery kits, and water bottles to support their education. Promoting environmental responsibility, volunteers visited a Government Nursery, collected saplings, and created posters and slogans spreading the message of “Save Nature,” while tree plantation activities further contributed to sustainability.
An insightful visit to PHC Saputara helped students understand rural healthcare systems, and the Dang Cultural Visit offered rich exposure to local traditions and heritage, including interaction at the King of Dang’s residence. Volunteers also conducted a door-to-door village survey to understand real challenges related to water, electricity, healthcare, roads, and education, and performed a powerful street play on “Save the Girl Child, Educate the Girl Child,” spreading awareness among villagers. Activities like yoga sessions and trekking promoted fitness, discipline, teamwork, and leadership. The camp also featured valuable interactions with village representatives, digital service providers, and local guides, offering insights into governance, digital inclusion, and cultural heritage. The entire camp was efficiently organized under the guidance of faculty coordinators and institute leadership, and we extend heartfelt appreciation to all NSS volunteers for their dedication, teamwork, and commitment towards society and nation-building.
