ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING - LABORATORY
DC CIRCUITS
Electrical Workshop
Basics Of Electrical And Electronics Engineering
This laboratory is designed to provide the basic understanding of electrical engineering. In Automobile engineering, there are many types of equipment that are electrically operated. Small faults could be identified and rectified so that the down time of the equipment is reduced. In this laboratory we perform experiments on the Ohm,s law, measure voltage, current & power in 1-phase circuit and voltage across a coil with variable frequency AC input, study the AC circuit with resistor, inductor and capacitor at constant even variable frequency, use of tachometer, RC time constant for 555 timer, use of multimeter, use of solar cell, study of photo diode, photo transistor, LDR etc. in this laboratory we can also test transformer by SC OC test, parts of DC-AC motors, etc.
